Hi again Goshous - Well thanks for clearing that up - Hah ! ! !
By: Goshous. on 27 Jul 10, 15:31:06
@EDDIEPIRRERA lol I know it sounded odd, but that was my way of sardonically complementing him. Because of his great talent, humility, and discipline, he was able to reach the point where he deserved to have whatever he desired, because he earned it. And he desired to be a slut. lol

Hi Goshous - Well now, that was a rather interesting comment. Other than that I'm not sure what else there is to say except - thanks? (I think?)

Frank Sinatra was such a slut, but he deserved the pussy, so I ain't mad at him.

Hi flobsterlobster - It is truly one of the all time greats ! ! ! And that's why I'll keep right on singing it just like I did in my tribute to Frank - Thanks ! ! !

Hi again patsguy369 - Thanks for the comment / compliment. My hope is exactly the same as yours regarding this wonderful style of music making a comeback. I do believe with people like Michael Buble and Diana Krall out there the pendulum has already started to "swing" the other way -- thanks again ! ! !

Hi ricoallan - Thanks so much for the wonderful comment / compliment. It is so very very true that Frank Sinatra is -- without a doubt -- a "one of a kind" But having said that, I can honestly say that as a singer if I had to be compared to anyone or to stand in somebody's shadow then what better shadow to stand in than Francis Albert Sinatra - Thanks again ! ! !
By: ricoallan. on 19 Jul 10, 01:53:32
Wow, I always thought Frank Sinatra was one of a kind, but now I know there are atleast two others with magic voices just like Frank....One I heard today at my church's Italian Fest and now eddiepirrera....God given talent is still here for our extreme pleasure.

@EDDIEPIRRERA - you did a great job eddie, i'm not dissapointed at all...nice to know music is'nt completely dead and that there are still young people out there willing to keep it alive..maybe soon this music will have its revival like big band music did some years back and young talent like yourself will reap the benifts...i wish peace and good fortune

Hi patsguy369 - When Frank did this song back in 1966 he truly WAS at his all time best. When I recorded it for the tribute you just heard - (I'm a professional singer) - I tried to capture just a little bit of the Sinatra magic by phrasing as best I could like the master. I'm guessing from your comment I got pretty close to hitting the mark - Thanks! PS - I hope you're not dissapointed to find out that it wasn't Frank singing and was instead me.

Hi MrJoetesta - Thanks a million Joe ! ! ! Until I get around to posting more video's on Youtube what you can do is visit my web site, go to the Music Gallery page, and listen to some "Live" recordings I have posted there. My web site address is -- eddiepirrera(dot)com -- Just remember to replace the (dot) with a regular dot. For some reason Youtube won't allow website address's in a reply which is why I had to write it that way. Thanks again Joe ! ! !

Hi scottkicksyou - Thanks for the comment! The Sopranos is one of the main reasons so many people have tuned in, watched my tribute, and listened to me sing this song. So at this point I'll just say it again -- Thank you Sopranos ! ! !
By: MrJoetesta. on 15 Jul 10, 12:37:32
Great job again Eddie. When can we hear more?
By: scottkicksyou. on 15 Jul 10, 00:03:20

Hi cualcoatl - Since we all have a shelf life and none of us are immune to the affects of growing older, I think that the message of song like this simply points out that we have to take the best possible advantage of the time we have -- while we have it -- with the people we love! Thanks for the comment!

As my father and mother age this song makes me cry

Hi IamHelenKeller - I'm so glad you liked my posting. It took quite a while to sift through the hundreds of pictures I have of Sinatra in order to find just the right ones to go with the lyrics. Fortunately my singing and recording of the song was a whole lot easier and went a whole lot faster - Thanks again!
